Goo... School really starts this week and next for most of us, and quite frankly I am disgusted. As I lay in bed this morning thinking about tuition, books, homework, deadlines, and still having to work fulltime, there is only one thing in particular that helps me to clear my mind. What is it you may ask? Hot Dogs for breakfast? Skateboarding? The hottest bestfriend? Yes it's true, these things do help greatly, but what it really is that ups my stoke factor for this fall season is simply that which some might refer to as "The Itch." It's an eczema like rash, where the more I itch it, the bigger it grows. Right now you see, I only have a little scratch, but as the months move forward, the temperature drops, the new snow movie premiers and buyers magazines issues come out, This small itch will have grown into a large malignant disease which will consume my entire mind and body. The itch which I am simply referring to is this year's snowboard season. We all have heard day after day about our low economic stance and it is quite depressing. People need fun in their lives and the fact of the matter is that whether you ski or snowboard, when you are up on the lift with the snow sprinkling down on your lap and you find yourself making major connections with your life and Mother Nature, when you realize you are taking the turns of your life with your closest friends, when you are hucking your shiz, etc... you are experiencing freedom at it's finest, and it's pure fun. Now I will try not to ruin this awesome image I have engineered in your minds, like a terrible commercial in the middle of your favorite program, but for those of you who are in need of passes I will be selling Park City Student passes this year for $375, Canyon's Passes for $385, and passes to my personal favorite resort, Sundance, which will include night skiing this year. If any of you feel the urge to save up to $150 dollars or so these passes must be purchased by Oct. 31st and are available at Board Of Provo. Let the scratching begin.
