We're Moving

It's official, we are moving all of our content for this season to a new address. The Snow Collective is our new project for this season and we're hoping to expand on everything that Bad Boy Sodas started. So check it out and let us know what you think, and get pumped for this season.

Time To Start Itching.

Goo... School really starts this week and next for most of us, and quite frankly I am disgusted. As I lay in bed this morning thinking about tuition, books, homework, deadlines, and still having to work fulltime, there is only one thing in particular that helps me to clear my mind. What is it you may ask? Hot Dogs for breakfast? Skateboarding? The hottest bestfriend? Yes it's true, these things do help greatly, but what it really is that ups my stoke factor for this fall season is simply that which some might refer to as "The Itch." It's an eczema like rash, where the more I itch it, the bigger it grows. Right now you see, I only have a little scratch, but as the months move forward, the temperature drops, the new snow movie premiers and buyers magazines issues come out, This small itch will have grown into a large malignant disease which will consume my entire mind and body. The itch which I am simply referring to is this year's snowboard season. We all have heard day after day about our low economic stance and it is quite depressing. People need fun in their lives and the fact of the matter is that whether you ski or snowboard, when you are up on the lift with the snow sprinkling down on your lap and you find yourself making major connections with your life and Mother Nature, when you realize you are taking the turns of your life with your closest friends, when you are hucking your shiz, etc... you are experiencing freedom at it's finest, and it's pure fun. Now I will try not to ruin this awesome image I have engineered in your minds, like a terrible commercial in the middle of your favorite program, but for those of you who are in need of passes I will be selling Park City Student passes this year for $375, Canyon's Passes for $385, and passes to my personal favorite resort, Sundance, which will include night skiing this year. If any of you feel the urge to save up to $150 dollars or so these passes must be purchased by Oct. 31st and are available at Board Of Provo. Let the scratching begin.

The perfect summer excuse.

It's summer and everyone is working for the man. Things happen that you don't want to miss out on.

Scenario 1: Foreign girls at the poolside.

Scenario 2: The swell is in and you have an itch to hang your toes on the nose.

Scenario 3: You're watching Lord of the Rings Two Towers and you can't stop 2/3 of the way through the trilogy.

Either way...

Travis Parker's INSANE BLADE video

Thanks to Pierre Wikberg, we have evidence of Travis Parkers rollerblading past.  Filmed in europe 10 years ago, it gives a peek into a different career path Travis could have taken.

Isenseven's Trip to Japan

Good Glory HD snow videos look good.  HD is to snowboarding what turkey and mustard are to bread. It takes a normally good something and blows it up into the awesomesphere.

This Vid from the Isenseven eurokiddos is no exception.  Check it

BOLD STATEMENT

I make very bold statements all of the time. But i named the 3 best snowboard movies, very bold. The reason i am so bold is because girls love it. I learned that little gem from axe commercials. But what im getting at is numbers 1 2 and 3. the best snowboard movie ever is DECEMBER. If you dont agree ask Todd Earl. Everyone loves toad earl. Numero dos es afterbang. numero 3 is AUGUST!!!! if you dont beleuive me watch august.
A summary of august, by Austin Davis.
It starts out as a cinematic thriller. Ben Lynch falls down a crevass and Jed cheesedick Anderson makes lots of people fall over. the end.

p.s. juggalos for life.

A Couple Gems from the Provo Brothers

Sometimes I watch snow vids in the spring/summer and I hate my life.  Ian and Neil Provo have provided one such life hating moment with their POV shots of Powder Mountain.  Thank you for helping me hate life.

Here's another summer hating gem from the same brothers, this time on a camping/backcountry attack

Careful shredders: Post shred injury organ harvest

Yikes, an Ohio family is claiming that their son, who suffered serious injuries while snowboarding, had his death "hastened" by doctors so they could harvest his organs.

If the Dr. starts looking at your kidneys and rubbing his hands together suspiciously next time you get broke off, RUN AWAY.

Spot Check: Echo Mountain

Last weekend Jared, some kid named Forest, and I were able to visit the great state of Colorado. Known for its pristine scenery, Chaco sandals, and Kum & Go gas stations, CO showed us nothing but love. While looking for our snow fix we stumbled upon Echo Mountain. Located only a few minutes outside of Denver, this Park-Only ski area had all the boxes, rails, jumps, and tree jibs a rider could ask for. Even with the season wrapping up there was plenty of snow and fun to go around. We were having too much fun to take real pics, so here are some fake ones... Believe it or not, this was Forest's first (and probably last) day of riding this season. Dirt Jumps for Days. Highlight of the trip.

Jareds Note:  Those dirty jumps were super fun.  Good job echo diggers
